Proof of life waits just beneath the vibrant surface, buried deep within the dark, heavy silence of the moor. Brushing back the wet dirt reveals fragile strands of textile so thoroughly saturated that the twine and thread have fused with the mud of the land. This coarse fabric, pulled from its tomb, is evidence of creativity and skill–shaped by the living hands of a thriving community centuries ago. It is a heavy reminder that we are of the earth and will return to it, as will everything we create.
