Jenni Holman
Jenni has always possessed an innate creative spirit, finding her earliest artistic sanctuary in high school through the expressive realms of poetry and watercolor painting. This foundational passion for thoughtful creation has matured alongside a profound belief in the transformative power of intentionality within the spaces we inhabit.
Her diverse professional journey—which includes a career in human resources, founding two professional organizing businesses, and working as a real estate stager—has consistently centered on curating environments that foster well-being and visual harmony. Jenni's deep appreciation for organized and aesthetically pleasing surroundings, further enriched by her love for pottery, has been a constant thread throughout her endeavors.
In early 2025, while preparing her own home for sale, Jenni embarked on a new artistic path: the creation of abstract textured art. What began as a practical styling solution quickly evolved into a captivating creative odyssey, yielding over a hundred unique pieces in the first year. Through Moorstone Curated Decor, Jenni’s art embodies her mission to provide beautifully coordinated decor solutions that feel both intentional and organic. Her work simplifies the styling process, offering complete displays that effortlessly elevate any environment. About our process of collections and series
I frequently create work in collections and in series because the full complexity of our journey together is not contained by a single moment. A series allows a concept to breathe, to evolve, and to reveal its true depth over time and space.
For me, art is an immersive experience—it is a visual language that aims to resonate with a hidden truth, promote internal reflection, and be deeply visually stimulating. It is a story that unfolds not just on the canvas, but in the crucial, resonant space that bridges the eye to the heart. The essence of the work lies in the emotional gap it fills; it is not merely about the forms I present, but about the deeply personal echo that sparks when a viewer interprets what they see through the wisdom and history of their own spirit.
I work to establish a core tension—a specific emotion, paradox, or memory—and then weave that theme like a hidden current through the entire collection, to create a stirring of not so subtle resonance. Exhibits of the full series become a multi-faceted world to travel though and discover. You're invited to follow a map, allow yourself to be pulled deeper into an internal world where colors, textures, and tensions echo from one piece to the next.
When placed together, the canvases act as an emotional ecosystem. Visitors are encouraged to unfold the narrative at their own pace and examine the unspoken dialogue between the works. The goal is a final, cohesive installation where the sum of the parts is a profoundly deeper truth, enriching every corner of the room with a singular, unified feeling.
